Harold David Walters age 69 of Salyersville, Kentucky passed away Thursday, April 20, 2017 at the Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. He was born December 4, 1947 in Magoffin County KY, a son of the late Earl and Opal Perkins Walters. 
Survivors include one daughter, Nakita Hackworth of Prestonsburg, Ky., sisters: Jo Wilkerson of Fairfield, Ohio, Lela Minix, Wonnie (Ellis) Howard, Joyce Walters, Annie (Thomas) Mullins, and Connie (Robert) Bailey all of Salyersville, Ky. Six grandchildren also survive.

Madgie Mae Montgomery age 81 of Hammonds Fork Road, Salyersville, Kentucky passed away Monday, April 17, 2017 at the Pikeville Medical Center in Pikeville, Kentucky. She was born November 25, 1935 in Magoffin County, Kentucky to the late Linzie and Bessie Jenkins Montgomery. Survivors include one brother, Dona Montgomery of Springfield, Ohio, and one sister, Betty Carty of Salyersville, Kentucky. Madgie was a member of the Rockhouse Liberty Baptist Church.

Linda Kay Woodard Krontz age 67 of Salyersville, Kentucky passed away Sunday, April 16, 2017 at the Pikeville Medical Center in Pikeville, Kentucky. She was born June 4, 1949 in Magoffin County, Kentucky to the late Reece and Marie Salyer Woodard. 
Survivors include two sons, Reece Salyer of Printer, Kentucky, and Micheal Salyer of Langley, Kentucky, five grandchildren, Donovan Salyer, Tyler Salyer, Dakota Salyer, Haleigh Muncy, and Draven Salyer.

Elva Deen Minix age 71 of Salyersville, Kentucky passed away Saturday, April 15, 2017 at the Paul B Hall Regional Medical Center in Paintsville, Kentucky. She was born May 9, 1945 in Oakley, Kentucky to the late Jasper and Myrtle Salyer Minix. She is survived by her husband, Ronald Minix.

Vergil Hall age 62 of Lacy Creek Road, Salyersville, Kentucky passed away Saturday, April 15, 2017 at his home. He was born July 19, 1954 in Magoffin County, Kentucky to the late Junior Ray and Onie Phipps Hall. He was the husband of Linda Lemaster Hall, who survives.

Edna Faye Blanton Wheeler, age 89, of Litteral Fork, Salyersville, KY passed away Wednesday, April 12, 2017 at her home.   She is survived by two sons, Ronald Wheeler of Irvine, KY, Robert F. Wheeler and wife Ginny of Berea, KY; two daughters, Daurice F. Williams and husband, Ronald of Salyersville, KY and Della Pinks and husband Roger also of Salyersville, KY along with 9 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

Kermit Howes, better known as Arnold, age 77 of Salyersville, Kentucky passed away Tuesday, April 11, 2017 at the Highlands Regional Medical Center in Prestonsburg, Kentucky. He was born March 17, 1940 in Magoffin County, Kentucky to the late Henry and Leneva Fletcher Howes. He was the husband of Sallie Hale Howes, who survives.

Joey Reed, age 38, a resident of Lena Patrick Road in Salyersville, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday, April 11, 2017 at Pikeville Medical Center in Pikeville, Kentucky.
Joey was born September 12, 1978 at Paul B. Hall Medical Center in Paintsville, Kentucky the son of the late Randy and Sherry Lynn Patrick Reed.
Joey was a graduate of Magoffin County High School here in Salyersville, Kentucky.

Harold Clyde Williams age 65 of Hazard, Kentucky formerly of West Liberty, Kentucky passed away Sunday, April 9, 2017 at the Eastern Kentucky Veterans Center in Hazard, Kentucky. He was born June 23, 1951 in Dingus, Kentucky to the late Fred and Maudie Helton Williams. 
Survivors include two brothers, Johnny Williams of Pickaway, Ohio, and Scotty Williams of West Liberty, Kentucky, one sister, Oedith Wright of Cannel City, Kentucky, and a special friend, Malia.

Paul Edison Williams, of Stockbridge, Michigan, age 79, passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his family on Sunday, April 9, 2017. He was born on September 13, 1937, in Magoffin County, Kentucky, the son of Ernest and Opal (Dyer) Williams. Paul worked for the railroad most of his adult life. He was a skilled mechanic and fabricator. In his spare time he loved fishing, camping, hunting, and his grandchildren.
