These second graders from Salyersville Grade School constructed the corona around the sun.

The corona  is an aura of plasma that surrounds the sun and other stars. The Sun's corona extends millions of kilometres into space and is most easily seen during a total solar eclipse. Students from left to right:  Houston Lykins, Tavis Stewart, Alyveea Brown, Ashley Gayheart, Chance Nicely.
