SALYERSVILLE - A Magoffin man was arrested last week on drug charges after a domestic dispute.
On Thursday, September 25 Magoffin County Sheriff’s Office responded to a domestic call when they were told that Troy J. Adams, 33, of Spurlock Road, Salyersville had stolen suboxone. The officer found the stolen Suboxone on Adams, as well as six suspected Xanax tablets and a small bag of marijuana that he had allegedly tried to hide under the front seat of the sheriff’s office vehicle.
According to the arrest citation, the officer searches the back seat, including under the seats, after each prisoner.
Adams is currently being housed at the Big Sandy Regional Detention Center and charged with one count of theft of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance (second degree - Suboxone), possession of a controlled substance (third degree- Xanax), and possession of marijuana.
