FRANKFORT, Ky. – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet today announced that the Magoffin County Fiscal Court will receive $34,620 in County Road Aid emergency funds. These funds will be used for slip repairs on Painters Lick Branch Road (CR 1035), making it safer for area residents, school buses and other vehicles that travel this highway.

The project location is 1.49 miles east of KY 40.

“The Bevin administration is committed to the Cabinet’s mission of providing a safe, reliable transportation network for all Kentuckians,” said KYTC Secretary Greg Thomas.  “These emergency funds will help repair and restore damaged infrastructure throughout this community.”
The Magoffin County Fiscal Court is responsible for administering the work.
