Disaster assistance officials urge anyone who has received an U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) Loan Application needs to complete and return it immediately.
Registration is the critical first step in the disaster assistance process. You must register to be eligible for federal disaster assistance.
Renters and homeowners who have received SBA loan applications must submit the application in order to be considered for some types of FEMA assistance. If SBA determines you cannot afford a loan, they will refer you to FEMA for possible grant assistance.
For help completing an application, contact any of the Recovery Centers. For more information, call the SBA toll-free at 800-659-2955 or visit www.sba.gov.
