The Magoffin County Sheriff’s Department arrested four people after responding to an anonymous tip of possible drug use Friday at a residence on Route 460.
Tammy Allen Manns and Tommy Manns, residents of the house, along with Dora Perkins and Johnny Sizemore, were taken into custody and charged with public intoxication, possession of controlled substance, cultivating marijuana, and endangering the welfare of a minor.

Tommy Manns was also charged with tampering with physical evidence after he reportedly flushed away prescription medication.
According to sheriff Bob Jordan, Tommy Manns ran toward the bathroom with the pills after Perkins opened the door and discovered Jordan outside the residence.
Jordan said he found four Methadone 10 mg pills and six Hydrocodone pills that Manns had dropped on his way to the bathroom.
Jordan reported finding one marijuana plant that stood about five and one-half feet tall inside the house. He also said a minor child inside the house at the time of the arrests was placed in the custody of a family member.
