Magoffin County Schools and Adult Learning Center invites parents and anyone wanting to improve their computer skills to attend this FREE training.
Whether you are an adult helping your parents with their computer skills or your own kids helping you with yours, the younger generation has long been providing tech support to those who didn’t grow up with computers in their homes (let alone their pockets). Jeffery Salyer, Technology Specialist, will provide a “hands-on” introduction to computer basics. The class will cover how to navigate the web and use Microsoft Office applications which will enable participants to make meaningful connections between technology, empowerment, and a parent’s ability to meet family needs. This class will be offered at different dates to accommodate individual schedules.
