GIRLS’ HIGH SCHOOL CROSS COUNTRY: Crase competes in state meet

LEXINGTON - The Magoffin County High School Cross Country program was well-represented at the state level over the weekend. Magoffin County freshman Reagan Crase competed in the Class A state cross country meet at Kentucky Horse Park on Saturday. Crase finished in a time of 23:24.60, placing 108th in the Kentucky Horse Park-hosted state meet. 

A runner from a neighboring county captured a state championship. Morgan County sophomore won the Class A state title, finishing the run in 19:46.11. 

St. Henry captured the Class A girls’ team title. 

Crase was the only Magoffin County runner to compete in the state meet. She excelled throughout the 2016 high school cross country season.
