Grand jury releases indictments: October 2018

SALYERSVILLE – A Magoffin County grand jury released the following four indictments on Thursday, October 4, 2018.

Melissa Gasparac, 39, of Sugar Camp Road, Salyersville, is charged with first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, greater than or equal to two grams of methamphetamine, first offense (Class C felony), and two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia (Class A misdemeanors). According to the indictment, on or about March 6, 2018, Gasparac allegedly manufactured, distributed, dispensed, sold, transferred, or possessed, with the intent to manufacture, distribute or sell a quantity of methamphetamine. She is also accused of possessing drug paraphernalia.

Jeffrey Lykins, 44, of the Right Hand Fork of Oakley, Salyersville, is charged with possession of a handgun by a convicted felon (Class C felony); first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, greater than or equal to two grams of methamphetamine, first offense (Class C felony); two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia (Class A misdemeanor); second-degree possession of a controlled substance, drug unspecified (Class A misdemeanor); and third-degree possession of a controlled substance, drug unspecified (Class A misdemeanor). According to the indictment, on or about March 4, 2018, Lykins allegedly manufactured, distributed, dispensed, sold, transferred, or possessed, with the intent to manufacture, distribute or sell a quantity of methamphetamine. He also is accused of possessing a handgun (as a convicted felon), drug paraphernalia, and quantities of Suboxone and Xanax.

William C. Hylton, 34, of Old Burning Fork Road, Salyersville, is charged with first-degree possession of a controlled substance, first offense, methamphetamine (Class D felony); first-degree possession of a controlled substance, first offense, drug unspecified (Class D felony); possession of marijuana (Class B misdemeanor); and three counts of possession of drug paraphernalia (Class A misdemeanors). According to the indictment, on or about February 13, 2018, Hylton allegedly possessed quantities of methamphetamine, Oxycodone, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia.

Felisha D. Crace, 28, of Old Burning Fork Road, Salyersville, is charged with first-degree possession of a controlled substance, first offense, methamphetamine (Class D felony); possession of marijuana (Class B misdemeanor); and three counts of possession of drug paraphernalia (Class A misdemeanors). According to the indictment, on or about February 13, 2018, Crace allegedly possessed quantities of methamphetamine and marijuana, as well as drug paraphernalia. 
Arrest warrants were issued on all four indicted, with only one served as of press time. Hylton was taken into custody on October 5 and is currently being held at the Big Sandy Regional Detention Center. He is scheduled to be arraigned on October 18 at 11 a.m.
