Herald Whitaker Middle School Students Enjoy Weather Presentation

The 7th grade students at HWMS recently enjoyed an educational weather lesson presented by the National Weather Service in Jackson, Kentucky. Meterologist In Charge, Shawn Harley and Science and Operations Officer, Edward Ray provided the students with a variety of hands on experiments and students also were able to examine a number of weather related instruments. This presentation was part of the on-going recovery program led by Jan Romonds, a specialist in supporting recovery efforts for individuals in circumstances that challenge growth, development and healing.
