Magoffin County runs in Paintsville All-Comers meet

PAINTSVILLE - The Magoffin County Cross Country team ran in the Paintsville All-Comers Meet on Tuesday, Sept. 9 at Paintsville Lake.   Teams participating were Magoffin County, Paintsville, Johnson Central and Prestonsburg.  

The Magoffin County boys’ team placed second. Jared Owens led the Magoffin County boys’ team, placing an impressive second with 46 male runners with a time of 21:38.  Following Owen were the these teammates in order:  Logan Lovely (24:54), Drew Davis (25:21), Kirklen Wireman (25:38), Daniel Minix (26:39), Trenton Taulbee (26:48), Michael Miranda (27:54), Dalton Rudd (28:21), Isaiah Tackett (28:52), Logan Howard (29:56), Austin Gibson (32:17), Donovan Watson (32:20), Mason Coldiron (32:21), Matthew Colvin (33:51), Quentin Arnett (35:24), Lance Griffith (36:26), Hayden Colvin (36:53), Bryson Wheeler (37:13), Brady Fannin (38:56), Blake Helton (38:56), Mason Isaac (39:02), Dylan Minix (48:19), Joseph Miranda (48:26), Dylan Patrick (48:35), and Seth Watkins (49:52).

The Magoffin County girls’ team placed third overall.  Breanna Ables led the Magoffin County girls’ team with an impressive 10th place finish among 30 female runners with a time of 32:21.  Following Ables were these teammates in order: Mikka Shepherd (33:58), Peyton Bailey (34:08), Shelia Collins (38:33), Emily Conley (41:04), Destiny Manns (43:52), Kassidi Holiday (43:53), MaKenzie Castle (44:07), Jimma Minix (51:33) and Grace Lemaster (51:34).

Magoffin County Cross Country runners will return to action at Paintsville Lake in meets on Sept. 15 and 22.
