Meeting on ruffed grouse management set for Friday
FRANKFORT - The public is invited to learn more about the state’s ruffed grouse management plans during a community meeting hosted by the Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife Resources at 7 p.m. on Friday (Aug. 24) at Jenny Wiley State Resort Park in Prestonsburg.
Experts from the department’s Wildlife Division will discuss plans for upcoming projects to help restore grouse in Kentucky. Biologists will be available to answer questions from the audience and outline long-term goals for the program.
The meeting is open for the public.
