MOUNTAIN PARKWAY – A woman from Williamson, West Virginia, was taken to the hospital after a Monday morning wreck on the Mountain Parkway.
According to Magoffin County Rescue Squad Captain Carter Conley, on Monday, June 25 at approximately 6:35 a.m., a woman from Williamson, West Virginia, was traveling east on the Mountain Parkway when she hydroplaned. Her Jeep Cherokee went into the medium and flipped onto the passenger side.
She was out of the vehicle when crews arrived and was taken to Paul B. Hall Medical Center for further evaluation. Her name was not released.
