The deadline to file nomination papers for candidates for the primary will be Tuesday, January 30 at 4 p.m. All county officer positions will be on the ballot, as will District 1 and 4 school board seats, district judge, Commonwealth attorney, and circuit clerk. The U.S. House of Representatives race will go on this ballot, as will the state senate (even districts) and state house positions. The nonpartisan city council and mayor’s race will be on the general election ballot in November 2018.
