Students at Salyersville Grade School will be participating in a competition to see who can collect the most pop tabs to help The Ronald McDonald House of the Bluegrass in Lexington, KY.  RMH charities help parents who have a child that is hospitalized by providing lodging close to the hospital, as well as other support.  Pop tabs will be collected starting Friday, April 18 to Wednesday April 30.  The tabs from each class will be collected and weighed.  The class who collects the most will get to have a pizza party with lots of fun activities. Every student in the school that brings in at least 20 tabs will get to select a prize from the treasure chest.  Mrs. Randi Roark is pictured above explaining the fundraiser/competition to a second grade class.
