Three sent to hospital after early Monday wreck
MIDDLE FORK – Three people were taken to the hospital Monday morning after wrecking in the Middle Fork community.
On Monday, June 25 at approximately 2:45 a.m., rescue crews were dispatched to a two-vehicle wreck at the junction of Kentucky Routes 378 and 3337 (Down-And-Around).
According to Magoffin County Rescue Squad Captain Carter Conley, one vehicle was traveling on Rt. 378 when the other vehicle pulled out from Down-And-Around, causing the collision. The vehicle coming out of Down-And-Around flipped onto the driver’s side, but everyone involved in the wreck was out of the vehicles when rescue crews arrived.
All three people were transported to the hospital for further evaluation. No names were released for either vehicle.
