Two-Car Collision Causes Minor Injuries

All involved in the accident were out of the vehicles when emergency personnel arrived on the scene, Magoffin County Rescue Squad Captain Carter Conley said.
No life threatening injuries were reported, but Captain Conley said two teenage passengers and an infant riding in Salyer’s vehicle were treated at the scene and transported to Paul B. Hall Medical Center in Paintsville for additional treatment.
Salyer’s vehicle left the roadway after crashing with McFarland’s vehicle and narrowly missed a utility pole while traveling over an embankment.
The accident in being investigated by the Magoffin County Sheriff’s Department.
