Salyersville Grade School student Case Adkins is pictured working on his Individual Learning Plan (ILP).

6th grade students at Salyersville Grade school are working on their career ILP’s. ILP’s are completed by using the Career Cruising program provided by the Kentucky Department of Education. Career Cruising is a career exploration and planning tool your child uses to explore career  options and develop a career plan.  Features of the program include:
assessment tools to help your child identify his or her career interests, skills, abilities, and learning, information about hundreds of occupations, interviews with people in each occupation.

For more information about your child’s ILP, please contact Tommi Lemaster at 349-3411.
