Geneva Fern "Jean" Jenkins Patrick age 87 of Berlin Patrick Road, Salyersville, Kentucky passed away Thursday, June 14, 2018 at the Pikeville Medical Center in Pikeville, Kentucky. She was born December 14, 1930 in Magoffin County, Kentucky to the late Noah Jenkins and Easter Jenkins Wheeler. She was the wife of Berlin Patrick, who survives. 
Survivors also include one son, Donnie (Gwen) Patrick of Salyersville, Kentucky, one daughter, Judy (Richard) Adkins of Pikeville, Kentucky, one sister, Suedell Blanton of Springfield, Ohio, four half-sisters, Barbara Ann Jenkins of Fairborn, Ohio, Leatha Mae Jenkins, Audrey Gay Jenkins, and Edith Kay Keeton all of Salyersville, Kentucky, and one half-brother, Berlin Jenkins of London, Ohio. Three grandchildren, Brian (Becky) Patrick, Brandon Adkins, and LeAndra (Cory) Hall, and three great grandchildren, Ashlyn Patrick, Korbyn Hall and Hayden Hall also survive.
Jean was a Charter Member of the Emmanuel Baptist Church. 
In addition to her parents, Jean is preceded in death her step-father, Warnie Wheeler, two half-brothers, Eldon Jenkins and Ervin Jenkins, and one half-sister, Rena Faye Mann.
Funeral services were conducted at 2 pm Sunday, June 17, 2018 from the Magoffin County Funeral Home Chapel with Mark Campbell and Greg Minix officiating. Burial followed in the Patrick Cemetery at Bloomington, Kentucky. 
Arrangements were under the direction of the Magoffin County Funeral Home.
