Judy Dyer Williams, age 66, a resident of Lake Drive Villa Rica, Georgian, passed away Friday, May 4, 2018 at Tanner Medical Center in Carrollton, Georgia after a lengthy illness.
Judy was born October 8, 1951 in Salyersville, Kentucky the daughter of the late Grogeteen and Elsie Crace Dyer. Sisters, Bessie Dyer, Nellie Rose Dyer, Jean Dyer Arnett, Ruby Coffey, Markedda Gamble, brothers, Grover Hammonds, Carl Dyer, Ogal Dyer, Mitchell Dyer, James Dyer, Jay Dyer, Calvin Dyer, Marvin Dye, and ex-husband, Ralph Williams preceded her in death.
Judy was a graduate of Morehead State University with a Masters Degree in Education. She was a teacher until her retirement.
Those left to mourn include daughters, Angel Williams of Villa Rica, Georgia, Emily Williams of Villa Rica, Georgia, sister, Brenda Joseph of Salyersville, Kentucky, a host of family and friends who love and miss her.
Funeral services for Judy Dyer Williams were conducted Wednesday, May 9, 2018 at 1:00 PM from the chapel of the Salyersville Funeral Home in Salyersville, Kentucky. Clergy Adam "Demmie" Marshall delivered comforting words on the day of service. Interment followed in the Patrick and Lovely Cemetery on Johnson Fork in Salyersville, Kentucky.
