Nancy Conley, age 77 of Van Buren Township, MI, died peacefully at the Angela Hospice Residence of Livonia, MI early Monday morning, October 23, 2017. Born in Magoffin County, KY, she was the youngest child of Homer Dodd and Myra (Arnett) May. She grew up in Salyersville, KY then moved to Michigan in the 1960s where she began a 30 year career at Ford Motor Company. Throughout her life she was known as a spirited lady with a caring heart. As an active member of UAW Local 845, church, and social organizations, she rallied around many causes and charitable services. Above all, she was devoted to the well-being of her friends and family. She touched many lives and will truly be missed. She is survived by her son Steve (Nancy), grandsons TJ (Kelly) and Jon, caring companion Robert Welt, sister Pauline, brother Bill, sisters-in-law Ruth and Joyce, many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Sadly, she was preceded in death by her parents, brothers JC and "Bobe", and sisters Edith and Jean. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, October 27th in the main chapel of the David C. Brown Funeral Home of Belleville, MI, 640 E. Huron River Dr., Belleville, Michigan. (734)-697-4500.
