Dorothy Marie Conley Lemaster Cassity age 79 of West Liberty, Kentucky passed away Friday, May 4, 2018 at the Morgan County A.R.H. in West Liberty, Kentucky. She was born November 3, 1938 in Magoffin County, Kentucky to the late Wayne F. and Blanche M. Salyer Conley. She was the wife of John D. Cassity, who survives.
Along with her husband, those left to mourn her passing include two sons, Raymond "Jim" (Christy) Lemaster of Falcon, Kentucky, and Howard Timothy "Tim" Lemaster of Salyersville, Kentucky, four daughters, Tammy L. (Billy) Hammond of Lizella, Georgia, Shamona Russell and Tina (Joy) Hall both of Salyersville, Kentucky, and Rebecca "Becky" (Tim) Spring of Byron, Georgia, four step-sons, Carl Jr. Cassity, James D. Cassity, Ray Cassity, and John Wayne Cassity all of West Liberty, Kentucky, four step-daughters, Edna Blair and Carolyn Elliott both of West Liberty, Kentucky, Joyce Faust of Alabama, and Rosalee Monroe of West Virginia, and three sisters, Addie Burchett and Sharon Burchett both of Stambaugh, Kentucky, and Nadine Pennington of Salyersville, Kentucky. Eighteen grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren, eleven step-grandchildren, and ten step-great grandchildren also survive.
In addition to her parents, Dorothy is preceded in death by one son-in-law, Howard Adrian Russell, two brothers, Darrell "Butch" Conley and Gary Conley, and one sister, Bernadette Spradlin.
Dorothy was a devoted member of the Queen Street Church in Mt. Sterling, Kentucky.
Funeral services were conducted at 2 pm Tuesday, May 8, 2018 from the Magoffin County Funeral Home Chapel with Lindsey Meade officiating. Burial followed in the Conley Cemetery at Horsepen, Kentucky
Arrangements were under the direction of the Magoffin County Funeral Home.
