Gary Lynn Bayes age 50 of Mount Sterling, Kentucky formerly of Magoffin County, Kentucky passed away Thursday, February 19, 2015 in Mount Sterling, Kentucky. He was born October 20, 1964 in Magoffin County, Kentucky to the late Lloyd and Eva Mae Poe Bayes.

Lonnie Lynn Rowe, age 48, a resident of Greenup Street in Catlettsburg, Kentucky; passed away Thursday, February 19, 2015 at the Kings Daughter Medical Center in Ashland, Kentucky.
Mr. Rowe was born January 20, 1967 in Knox, Indiana the son of the late Ernest and Alice Cole Rowe. Also, preceding him in death are sisters, Beatrice Salyers and Linda G. Rowe.
Mr. Rowe was a plumber for Workman Plumbing and worked in construction as well until his retirement. He was a member of the Baptist Faith.

Janice Fay Shepherd Fitzpatrick age 68 of Royalton, Kentucky passed away Tuesday, February 17, 2015 at the Paul B. Hall Regional Medical Center in Paintsville, Kentucky. She was born December 11, 1946 in Magoffin County, Kentucky to the late Homer and Beatrice Allen Shepherd. She was the wife of Walter Fitzpatrick, who survives.

Teresa Ann Hale, 48, of Spencer Pike, Mt. Sterling passed away Monday, February 16, 2015 at the University of Kentucky Medical Center.  She was born in Floyd County, Kentucky on August 28, 1966 the daughter of Ruben and Yvonne Bailey Hale.  She loved watching television and movies, especially anything starring Michael Landon or Tom Wopat, listening to country music and keeping the dishes washed up.

Ollie James Holbrook, age 68, a resident of Middle Fork in Salyersville, Kentucky; passed away Monday, February 16, 2015 in Salyersville, Kentucky.
Mr. Holbrook was born March 7, 1946 in Jackson, Kentucky the son of the late Earl and Rushie Auxier Holbrook.  Also, preceding him in death are sisters, Helen Abner, Wanda Holbrook, Corinna Risner, Christine Risner, Morinna Risner; brothers, Jesse James Holbrook, Willie Risner, Frank James Holbrook, and an infant.

Anna Mae Patrick Arnett age 84 of Salyersville, Kentucky passed away Monday, February 16, 2015 at the Good Samaritan Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky. She was born August 1, 1930 in Magoffin County, Kentucky to the late Hager and Mecia Arnett Patrick. She was preceded in death by her husband, Blake Arnett. Survivors include one son Lowell (Rita) Arnett of Salyersville, Kentucky and a host of relatives and friends.
In addition to her husband and parents, Anna Mae is preceded in death by one son Gregory Arnett and one sister Ora Lee Patrick Arnett.

Ella Isaac Ward age 89 of Lick Creek Road, Salyersville, Kentucky passed away Sunday, February 15, 2015 at the Salyersville Health Care Center in Salyersville, Kentucky. She was born May 20, 1925 in Magoffin County, Kentucky to the late Ervin “Bob” and Leona Howard Isaac. She was the wife of Hassel Ward, who preceded her in death.

Kenneth Cobern, age 73, a resident of Jack Adams Sub Division in Salyersville, Kentucky; passed away Saturday, February 14, 2015 in Salyersville, Kentucky.
Mr. Cobern was born March 4, 1941 in Salyersville, Kentucky the son of the late Andy Cobern and Jane Marshall King.  Also, preceding him in death are sisters, Hester Hardinburg, Stella King, Mary Sue Trujillo; and brothers, John King, Lacy Cobern, Roy King, Lonnie Cobern.

Harris Banks age 84 of Salyersville, Kentucky passed away Friday, February 13, 2015 at the Highlands Regional Medical Center in Prestonsburg, Kentucky. He was born March 16, 1930 in Magoffin County, Kentucky to the late Fred and Roxie Lykins Banks. He is survived by several brothers and sisters.

Jeff Harper age 97 of Salyersville, Kentucky passed away Friday, February 13, 2015 at the Pikeville Medical Center in Pikeville, Kentucky. He was born January 11, 1918 in Magoffin County, Kentucky to the late Noah and Myrtle Keeton Harper. He was the husband of Mary Ellen Owens Harper, who survives. Survivors also include two daughters Sandy Salyers and Pam Hicks both of Paintsville, Kentucky, one stepson Gary R. Williams of Harrogate, Tennessee, five grandchildren, six great grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren, five step grandchildren and three step great grandchildren.
