Hager "Junior" Minix Jr., age 68, a resident of Duco Road in Salyersville, Kentucky, passed away Thursday, April 24, 2014 at his home.
    Mr. Minix was born September 18, 1945 in Manchester, Michigan the son of the late Hager Sr. and Cassie Salyers Minix.  Also, preceding him in death is son, Terry Allen Longacre; sisters, Ora Grob, Amanda Conley, Joanne Minix, Margery Minix; brothers, JB Minix, Creighton Minix, and Clyde Minix.

James Collins age 57 of Royalton Road, Salyersville, Kentucky passed away Thursday, April 24, 2014 at his home.  He was born September 23, 1956 in Winamac, Indiana to the late Connie and Opal Coldiron Collins. Survivors include one son Jamie (Jodi) Collins of Royalton, Kentucky, one daughter Starr (Michael) Gasparac of Salyersville, Kentucky.

Peter Alden Push, 70, of Lexington, KY, passed away Monday, April 21, 2014.
Pete was born August 30, 1943, in Ann Arbor, Michigan, and graduated as valedictorian of Alger High School (Alger, OH) in 1961. After graduation he proudly joined the United States Air Force, deploying numerous times to Antarctica, the Philippines, and South Vietnam. He was honorably discharged in 1965.  
Following his time in the military, Pete graduated in 1970 with a degree from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University. He was a licensed airframe mechanic and loved to fly private planes.

William Elsie Conley age 86 of Salyersville, Kentucky passed away Saturday, April 19, 2014 at the Salyersville Health Care Center in Salyersville, Kentucky. He was born September 27, 1927 in Magoffin County, Kentucky to the late Tone and Lassie Hall Conley.

Wayne Lemaster age 81 of Salyersville, Kentucky passed away Saturday, April 19, 2014 at his home. He was born December 24, 1932 in Magoffin County, Kentucky to the late Curt and Ida Jackson Lemaster. Survivors include three sons Jerry Wayne Lemaster and Dewey "Dude" Lemaster both of Salyersville, KY and Sam Lemaster of Fallsburg, KY and one brother Bill Lemaster of Salyersville, KY; two sisters Lovella Cockerell of Washington Court House, Ohio and Loretta Litteral of Tipp City Ohio; five grandchildren Jeremy Lemaster, D.J.

Wendell Harold Minix age 78 of Salyersville, Kentucky passed away Wednesday, April 16, 2014 at the Kings Daughters Medical Center in Ashland, Kentucky.  He was born June 10, 1935 in Magoffin County, Kentucky to the late Earn and Lizzie Salyer Minix Perkins.  Survivors include his wife Thelma Hackworth Blair Minix, two sons Wendell Minix, Jr.

Vera Lee Arnett Back age 76 of Salyersville, Kentucky passed away Saturday, April 12, 2014 at the Salyersville Health Care Center in Salyersville, Kentucky.  She was born September 17, 1937 in Magoffin County, Kentucky to the late Clarence and Edith Bailey Arnett.  She's also preceded in death by her husband Steven Lee Back.

Emmett (Tuck) Cantrell passed away Thursday, April 10, 2014, at Meridian Gardens in Columbus, Nebraska.
    Emmett was born Dec. 8, 1915, in Salyersville, Ky., to Willie and Julia Cantrell and is the eldest of 13 siblings. He married his wife, Esther (Batterson), on Feb. 24, 1941, in Coldwater, Mich. They enjoyed 73 years of matrimony.

Caroline Farris age 50 of Jackson, Kentucky passed away Thursday, April 10, 2014 at the Pikeville Medical Center in Pikeville, Kentucky.  She was born April 23, 1963 in Knox, Indiana to Eugene Farris and Mattie Montgomery Fields who survives.

Margaret Ellen Howard age 78 of Salyersville, Kentucky passed away Thursday, April 10, 2014 at the Highlands Regional Medical Center in Prestonsburg, Kentucky.  She was born February 27, 1936 on Craft Creek in Magoffin County, Kentucky to the late Clyde and Gladie Montgomery Howard.  Margaret was a homemaker and a member of The New Life Worship Center.  She was saved and baptized in the spring of 1964.
