Eleen Fletcher Patrick age 75 of Royalton, Kentucky passed away Thursday, June 2, 2016 at the Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland, Kentucky. She was born July 16, 1940 in Royalton, Kentucky to the late Les Fletcher. 
Survivors include her husband, Ray Patrick, one son, Anthony Patrick of Morehead, Kentucky, one daughter, Deborah K. Bailey of Royalton, Kentucky, one brother, Roger Fletcher of Frankfort, Kentucky, and two sisters, Joann Peek of Millington, Tennessee and Julie Tripp of New York. Five grandchildren and three great grandchildren also survive.

Marcella Minix McDaniel, age 70, a resident of Morehead, Kentucky, formerly of Leslie, Michigan and Salyersville, Kentucky; passed away Monday, May 30, 2016 at her residence.
Marcella was born April 4, 1946 in Foraker, Kentucky to the late Noah and Ressie Howard Minix. Also preceding her in death are five brothers, Oakley, Arthur, L.D., Luther Dean, & JB Minix, and five sisters, Virginia, Tennessee, Audrey Montgomery, Florida, and Katherine Minix.

Anthony Arnett Sr., age 66, a resident of Gardner Trail in Salyersville, Kentucky; passed away Saturday, May 28, 2016 at Kings Daughter Medical Center in Ashland, Kentucky.
Mr. Arnett was born September 19, 1949 in Salyersville, Kentucky the son of the late Forrest Joe and Pansy Mae Arnett-Arnett. Also, preceding him in death is a sister Patty Jo Arnett.
Mr. Arnett was employed as a pipe fitter until his retirement. He was a member of Pipe Fitters Union 248 of Ashland, Kentucky. He was a lover of "American Muscle Cars" and the University of Kentucky Wildcats.

Joyce Ward Lemaster age 71 of Rock Lick Road, Salyersville, Kentucky passed away Saturday, May 28, 2016 at the U.K. Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky. She was born November 5, 1944 in Magoffin County, Kentucky to the late Turner and Mae Kelso Ward. She was the wife of Wendell Lemaster, who survives.

Alka Patrick age 91 of Lexington, Kentucky formerly of Magoffin County, Kentucky passed away Friday, May 27, 2016 at the St. Joseph Hospital's Hospice Care Center in Lexington, Kentucky. She was born April 22, 1925 in Magoffin County, Kentucky to the late Shafter and Ada Arnett Patrick. 
Survivors include one sister, Katherine Dyer of Lexington, Kentucky, one sister-in-law, Dean Adams of Salyersville, Kentucky, several nieces and nephews and several great nieces and nephews.
Alka was a devoted member of the Salyersville First Baptist Church.

Mrs. Sandra Arnett Shepherd, age 84, of Chatsworth, GA passed away on Tuesday, May 24, 2016 at her residence. 
Sandra was preceded in death by her parents, Burney and Harriet Arnett; her husband, Emit Shepherd; and several brothers and sisters.

Frank Stephens, age 94, a good man of great character and integrity, who loved God, his family and his country, was called into the presence of the Lord, at 3:56 a.m. Monday, May 16, 2016, at his home.  
Frank was born January 31, 1922 in Gunlock, KY, to the late Edward and Leatha (Howard) Stephens. On March 9, 1945 he married Agnes Vell (Reed) Stephens who preceded him in death on February 23, 2004.

Anna Mae Arnett Howard, age 70 a resident of Middle Fork, Kentucky passed away Monday, May 16, 2016 at her residence. 
Mrs. Howard was born July 23, 1945 in Salyersville, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Proctor and Nora Kimberlin Arnett. Also preceding her in death are two sisters, Alene Arnett Farris and Lilly Arnett. 
Mrs. Howard was a devoted wife, mother and member of her community.

Edward Grigsby, age 85, a resident of Pleasant Hill in Salyersville, Kentucky; passed away Monday, May 16, 2016 at Pikeville Medical Center in Pikeville, Kentucky after a lengthy illness.
Mr. Grigsby was born January 11, 1931 in Garrett, Kentucky.
Mr. Grigsby was a retiree of the Chrysler-Jeep Automobile Plant in Toledo, Ohio as a laborer.  He was a member of the UAW in Toledo, Ohio.  He enjoyed many of the local auctions, peddling, and trading with friends.
