SALYERSVILLE - After picking up 318 yards on the ground Friday night versus district rival Morgan County, Magoffin County has now rushed for 2,219 yards in 2013. The Hornets have passed for 1,392 yards. The balanced Magoffin County football team is likely to feature a rusher over 1,000 yards and and a passer over 1,500 yards when it hosts tradition-rich Lawrence County in the opening round of the Class 3A State Playoffs next week.
