Maurine Harper Arnett, age 96, a resident of Grape Creek in Salyersville, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, September 28, 2025 at the Salyersville Health and Rehabilitation Center in Salyersville, Kentucky.
Maurine was born March 31, 1929 in Salyersville, Kentucky the daughter of the late Robert P. and Laura Lykins Harper. Husband, Wendell Arnett, sister, Pauline Harper Arnett, brother, Robert Harper Jr., and daughter in law, Aileen Arnett, all preceded in death.
Maurine was a homemaker and pillar to her family whom she loved so dear. Spending time with them meant everything to her.
Those left to mourn includes daughter, Rosa Lee Perkins and husband Marvin of Salyersville, Kentucky, sons, Robert B. Arnett and wife Susan of Salyersville, Kentucky, James “Crow” Arnett of Salyersville, Kentucky, six grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, a host of family and friends.
A graveside service for Maurine Harper Arnett was conducted Wednesday, October 1, 2025 from the Harper Family Cemetery in Salyersville, Kentucky. Clergy Tim Clark delivered comforting words on the day of service. Interment followed in the Harper Family Cemetery in Salyersville, Kentucky.
