David Lee Charles age 74 of Pikeville, Kentucky passed away Thursday, December 17, 2020 at his home. He was born August 13, 1946 in Pikeville, Kentucky to the late Rell and Carrie Thompson Charles. David Lee is survived by his wife, Kay Sowards Charles, two sons, Eric Scott, Derrick Scott, both of Pikeville, Kentucky, one daughter, Kayla Burke of Pikeville, Kentucky, two step daughters, Valerie Biliter and Melissa Burchell, two brothers, Gene Charles of Michigan, Steve Charles of Racoon, Kentucky, and eight grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, David Lee is preceded in death by one brother, Donnie Charles, two sisters, Claudine Collins and Christine Morrison and one step daughter, Stephanie Moore.
Funeral services were conducted at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, December 20, 2020 from the Community Funeral Home in Zebulon, Kentucky with Mark Justice officiating. Burial followed in the Bent Ridge Cemetery in Zebulon, Kentucky.
