SALYERSVILLE – A Magoffin County grand jury handed down the following indictment, which was only released this week after the defendant was served in his case:
Leonard M. Tackett, 43, of Fletcher Branch Road, in Salyersville, is charged with first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, first offense, greater than or equal to two grams of methamphetamine (Class C felony). According to the indictment, on or about March 29, 2024, Tackett allegedly possessed a quantity of methamphetamine with the intent to distribute.
A warrant was issued for the defendant charged in the indictment that was released. Indictments are only released after the defendants are served in their cases.
