Evelyn Ritchie Harvey age 86, of Salyersville, Kentucky, passed away January 21, 2021 at Baptist Health in Lexington, Kentucky. She was born October 23, 1934 in Salyersville to the late Earl B. and Bessie Helton Ritchie.
Survivors include two sons, Ronnie Harvey of Campton, Kentucky and Doyle (Jo) Harvey of Salyersville, Kentucky. Three daughters, Linda (Terry) Howard, Lida (Robert) Wireman of Salyersville, Kentucky and Barbara (Kenny) Gilliland of Wellington, Kentucky. One sister, Veleda (Paul) Dorsch of Cape Coral, Florida. Seventeen grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews also mourn her passing.
In addition to her parents, Evelyn was preceded in death by her husband Clyde Harvey, two sons Teddy Harvey and Freddy Harvey, one daughter in law, Freda Brewer Harvey, and one sister Curalene Holbrook.
Evelyn was a homemaker and a faithful member of the Licking River Baptist Church.
Funeral Services were held Monday, January 25, 2021 at 1:00 PM in the chapel of the Magoffin County Funeral Home with Richard Greene officiating. Burial followed in the Harvey Family Cemetery on Johnson Fork.
Arrangements were under the direction of the Magoffin County Funeral Home.
