Redia V. McCarty Joseph age 67 of Burning Fork, Salyersville, Kentucky passed away Sunday, January 31, 2021 at her home. She was born September 27, 1953 in Magoffin County, Kentucky to the late Kash and Emma Dae Reed McCarty. Survivors include her husband, Danny Joseph, three daughters, Rebecca Lynn Joseph, of Salyersville, Kentucky, Danielle (Ronnie) Mayhan, of Paintsville, Kentucky, Jessica Renea (Terry) Francis, of Salyersville, Kentucky, two brothers, Roger McCarty, Veldon McCarty, both of Salyersville, Kentucky, one sister, Della Sue Bayes of Cincinnati, Ohio, four grandchildren, Alexus Wilcox, Cheyenne Fannin, Jasmine Francis, Haylee Francis, one great grandson, Kash Lee Wilcox, with a host of nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Redia is preceded in death by one son, Danny Buck Joseph, three brothers, Millow D, McCarty, Jason McCarty, and Lee Gene McCarty.
Redia was a member of the New Life Worship Center.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Thursday, February 04, 2021 from the New Life Worship Center with William Paul Perkins officiating. Burial will follow in the Kash McCarty Cemetery at Cow Creek, Kentucky. Friends may visit the church after 6:00 P.M. Tuesday, February 02, 2021 all day Wednesday, and any time prior to funeral services on Thursday.
Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, masks and social distancing are required.
