James M. Arnett age 60 of Salyersville, Kentucky passed away Tuesday, April 13, 2021 at the UK Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky. He was born July 19, 1960 in Huntington, West Virginia to James Woodrow “Jimmy” Arnett and the late Margie Trusty Malvalp.
Survived by his father, three sons, Andrew Thomas Arnett of Oil Spring, Kentucky, James Mallory Arnett of Lucasville, Ohio, Jacob Arnett of Ironton, Ohio, one daughter, Hope Brickey of Portsmouth, Ohio, three brothers, Jimmy Woodrow Arnett of Salyersville, Kentucky, Tabben Arnett of Chesapeake, Ohio, Shahan Manalp of Brownstown, Michigan, six sisters, Melynda D. Coffee of Dowagiac, Michigan, Kendra Arnett of Ypsilanti, Michigan, Jennifer Carnahan of Salyersville, Kentucky, Gwen Harbin Ray of Leavenworth, Kansas, Linda Sue Howard of Salyersville, Kentucky, Tracey Holderby, of Salyersville, Kentucky, and twelve grandchildren.
In addition to his mother, James is preceded in death by one daughter, Jamie Arnett Bauer.
James was a pipefitter by trade and a member of the UA Plumbers and Pipefitters Local 521 of Huntington, West Virginia.
Graveside services were conducted at 2:00 P.M. Friday, April 16, 2021 from the Woodrow Arnett Cemetery at College Heights, Kentucky, with Bill Shepherd officiating.
Arrangements were under the direction of the Magoffin County Funeral Home.
