Elder Owen Blanton age 90 of Salyersville, Kentucky passed away Saturday, February 12, 2022 at the Salyersville Nursing and Rehab Center in Salyersville, Kentucky. He was born July 12, 1931 at Coon Creek in Salyersville, Kentucky to the late Finley and Ada Howard Blanton.
Survived by one daughter, Winna (Brent) Burnett of Salyersville, Kentucky, and one grandson, Dustin (Christy) Blanton of Salyersville, Kentucky.
Preceded in death by his wife, Edna Mann Blanton, one son, Steve Blanton, and one sister, Norma Whitley.
Elder Owen was a member of the White Oak Primitive Baptist Church.
Funeral services were conducted Monday, February 14, 2022 from the Magoffin County Funeral Chapel with Elders Rick Howard, Chris Howard, and Jerry Howard officiating. Burial followed in the Moses Howard Cemetery at Coon Creek, Salyersville, Kentucky.
In lieu of flowers, family has requested contributions in honor of Elder Owen Blanton, made to the charity of your choice.
