Mark John Connelley, age 60, a resident of Middle Fork Road in Salyersville, Kentucky; passed away Tuesday, May 31, 2022 at Greg and Norean Wells Hospice Care Center in Hazard, Kentucky after a lengthy illness.
Mark was born May 21, 1962 in Salyersville, Kentucky the son of the late Edwin “Edd” and the late Nellie Borders Connelley.
Mark was a graduate of Magoffin County High School and a member of the Salyersville Christian Church in Salyersville, Kentucky. He was employed as Co-Owner and operator of Connelley Brothers Auto Sales and Salvage in Salyersville, Kentucky.
He is survived by sister, Louise Connelley of Salyersville, Kentucky, brothers, Tom Connelley and wife Sherry of Salyersville, Kentucky, Howard E. Connelley and wife Kathy of Salyersville, Kentucky, Pitt Connelley Jr. and wife Tamela of Salyersville, Kentucky, Bayes Connelley of Salyersville, Kentucky, a host of family and friends who love and miss him.
A graveside service for Mark Connelley will be conducted Friday, June 3, 2022 at 11:00 AM from the Connelley Cemetery on Connelley Farm Road in Salyersville, Kentucky. Clergy Howard Connelley will deliver comforting words on the day of service. Interment will follow in Connelley Cemetery in Salyersville, Kentucky. The family will welcome friends Thursday, June 2, after 6:00 PM at the Salyersville Funeral Home.
