Jewell I. Perkins age 87 of Salyersville, Kentucky passed away Wednesday, September 21, 2022 in Martin, Kentucky. She was born May 30, 1935 in Salyersville, Kentucky to the late Frank and Ova Litteral Perkins.
Survived by her son, Randall Perkins, one brother, Granville (Arlene) Perkins of Tipp City, Ohio, two sisters, Ellen (Bob) Evans of Xenia, Ohio, Lovella (Sherrill) Coyle of Huber Heights, Ohio, special friend, Tammy Nicholas, her cat, Blitzen, with several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Jewell is preceded in death by, two brothers, Floyd Perkins, Greenville Perkins, four sisters, Edna Stanley, Sina Powers, Almeda Poe, Rosie Connelley, and her special pet, Peanut.
Jewell was a member of the New Life Worship Center, loved watching her Christian programs, crossword puzzle, and a big UK Wildcats fan.
Funeral services were conducted Sunday, September 25, 2022 from the Magoffin County Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor William Paul Perkins officiating. Burial followed in the Frank Perkins Cemetery at Rockhouse Fork, Kentucky.
Arrangements were under the direction of the Magoffin County Funeral Home.
