Thomas Carl Bailey, age 93, of Mt. Sterling, KY, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 18, 2025. Carl was born February 21, 1932, in Salyersville, to the union of the late Ollie and Grace McCormick Bailey. He retired from Ashland Oil, where he was a Foreman. He was a member of the Bradley Freewill Baptist church.
Carl is survived by his son Ethan Kent Bailey of Lexington, 2 brothers Roy (Regina) Bailey of Racine, Ohio and Ollie (Kathy) Bailey Jr., of Salyersville, KY.
Besides parents, Thomas was preceded in death by his wife Wanda Kay “Dolly” Lemaster Bailey; his son-in-law Travis Terry, 2 brothers Paul Bailey and Delbert Bailey; 2 sisters Dorothy Seelig and Rose Conley.
Funeral services will be Thursday, March 20 at 1:00 p.m. at the Herald & Stewart Home For Funerals Chapel. Friends can visit from 11:00 a.m. until time of service at 1:00 p.m. Officiating is Randy Haney.
Burial will follow at Machpelah Cemetery.
