Angela “Angie” Shepherd age 44 of Salyersville, Kentucky passed away Wednesday, January 6, 2026 at the U.K. Medical Center, Lexington, Kentucky. She was born February 05,1981 in Paintsville, Kentucky to Robert Shepherd and Teresa Richenbaugh.
Survived by her parents, four sons, Ethan Randall (Nikita) Minix of Knott County, Kentucky, Adrian Peyton Carty, Houston Ryan Lykins both of Magoffin County, Kentucky, Jaiden Dante Tussey of Floyd County, Kentucky, three daughters, Aleigha Nicole Lykins of Magoffin County, Kentucky, Lilyanna Jolie Tussey, McKenna Brielle Tussey both of Floyd County, Kentucky, two brothers, Robert Jordan Shepherd of Prestonsburg, Kentucky, Vinson Rife of Ohio, and one grandson, Micah John Minix.
Angie is preceded death by two brothers, Michael Whitaker and Rodney Whitaker.
Funeral services were conducted Sunday, January 11, 2026 from the Magoffin County Funeral Home Chapel with Beecher Junior McCarty officiating. Burial followed in the Shepherd – Wireman Cemetery at Gunlock, Kentucky.
In lieu of flowers, family has requested contributions made to the memorial fund at the Magoffin County Funeral Home.
Arrangements were under the direction of the Magoffin County Funeral Home.
