Annis M. Blair, 82, of Salyersville, Kentucky passed away Saturday, October 15, 2022 at Maple Lawn Medical Care Facility. She was born on April 11, 1940 in Wonnie, Kentucky to Harding and Lena (Howard) Risner.
Annis enjoyed spending time with her family. She volunteered for CAP (Christian Appalachian Project) delivering food and goods to the elderly and shut ins. Annis loved her pets as if they were her children.
Annis is survived by one daughter, Pam (Doug) Sexton of Bronson; two sons, Steve (Cheryl) Blair of Coldwater, Kyle Blair of Colon; two brothers, Roy Risner of Kentucky, Troy (Diane) Risner of Marion, Ohio; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; her children’s father, Oscar Blair Jr. and many nieces and nephews.
Annis was preceded in death by her parents; stepfather, R.B. Risner; daughter, Michelle Blair; three brothers, Harding II, Noy, Harry Donald Risner; sister-in-law, Linda Risner and nephew, Roy Risner Jr.
A celebration of life for Annis M. Blair will take place at a later date in Kentucky.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Magoffin County Funeral Home.
