Arbadella Reed, age 85, a resident of Laurel Branch Road in Salyersville, Kentucky; passed away Thursday, December 12, 2024 at her home.
Arbadella was born March 30, 1939, in Salyersville, Kentucky the daughter of the late Arna and Delphia Adams Reed. Son, Tommy Campbell, sister, Arnetta Reed, and brothers, Louie Reed, Robert “Bob” Reed, Don Reed, also preceded in death.
Arbadella was employed by the Magoffin County Board of Education until her retirement and was Pastor of the Cow Creek Church of God in Salyersville, Kentucky. She was a member of the Kentucky Colonels, Magoffin County Eastern Star Chapter, and board member on Sandy Valley Services.
Those left to mourn includes daughter, Brenda Brown of Salyersville, Kentucky, sons, Parnell Campbell and wife Daletta of Salyersville, Kentucky, Cory Cravens of Morehead, Kentucky, brothers, Rondal Reed, George Reed, Michael Reed, all of Salyersville, Kentucky, grandchildren, Tommy Scott Campbell of Salyersville, Kentucky, Amanda Howard of Salyersville, Kentucky, Weston Campbell and wife Brittany of Salyersville, Kentucky, Christian Campbell and wife Darian of Paintsville, Kentucky, great grandson, Clark Campbell and Claire Campbell who is on the way. Also, surviving is her dog, Molly, and a host of family and friends who love and miss her.
Funeral services for Arbadella Reed were conducted Sunday, December 15, from the Salyersville First Baptist Church in Salyersville, Kentucky. Clergy Jason Rife and Ben Martin delivered comforting words on the day of service. Interment followed in the Reed Cemetery on Laurel Branch in Salyersville, Kentucky.
