Billy G. Howard, age 84, a resident of Old Lick Creek Road in Salyersville, Kentucky; passed away Friday, April 4, 2025 at Pikeville Medical Center in Pikeville, Kentucky after a lengthy illness.
Billy was born May 22, 1940 in Salyersville, Kentucky the son of the late Farmer and May Borders Howard. Sisters, Geneva Crace, Genova Tackett, Jeanette Howard, and brother, George Howard also preceded in death.
Billy is a graduate of Morehead State University in Morehead, Kentucky with a degree in Industrial Arts. He was employed as a Pipe fitter in Pipe fitters Union Local 190 of Ann Arbor, Michigan, He served his country in the United States Navy where he was honorably discharged. Billy was an active member of New Generation Worship Center in Salyersville, Kentucky.
Those left to mourn includes wife of forty years, Pamela Harwell Howard, sons, Billy Howard II of Cincinnati, Ohio, Wesley Howard and wife Patty of Clarksville, Tennessee, daughter, Amy Combs of Allen, Kentucky, sisters, Mary Sue Slone of Huber Heights, Ohio, Geraldine Little of Northford, Virginia, brothers, Bob Howard of Owensboro, Kentucky, Joe Howard of Salyersville, Kentucky, Farmer “Bud” Howard of Salyersville, Kentucky, Sherlin “Jay” Howard of Oil Springs, Kentucky, two grandchildren, three great grandchildren, a host of family and friends who love and miss him.
A memorial service celebrating the life of Billy G. Howard will be announced at a later date.
