Billy Stewart age 77 of Salyersville, Kentucky passed away Thursday, April 11, 2024 at his home. He was born February 18, 1947 in Harlan County, Kentucky to the late William and Lucy Hoskins Stewart.
Survived by his wife, Mecca Lynn Hardwick Stewart, three daughters, Melinda (Eugene) Toole of Brevard, North Carolina, Teresa “Terrie” Newell of Old Fort, North Carolina, Brandi Collins of Salyersville, Kentucky, one brother, Shelby Stewart of Florida, one sister, Dottie Parmer of Florida, four grandchildren, Ian Newell, Connor Newell, and Shane Collins, and Kirsten Conley.
In addition to his parents, Billy is preceded in death by one brother, Charles Stewart.
Funeral services were conducted Tuesday, April 16, 2024 from the New Life Worship Center with William Paul Perkins officiating. Burial followed the Lakeview Cemetery at Staffordsville, Kentucky.
Arrangements were under the direction of the Magoffin County Funeral Home.
