Bobby Gene Culbertson, age 86, of Festus, Missouri, passed away Saturday, September 17, 2022 at Crystal Oaks Nursing Home in Festus. He was born December 13, 1935 in Salyersville, Kentucky, the son of the late Ida E. (nee Harman) and James M. Culbertson.
He is survived by his wife of 65 years Wilma J. (nee Stepp) Culbertson; his son Matthew (Patty) Culbertson of Festus; his daughter Amy (Terry) Satterfield of Granville, Ohio; his siblings Bill (Lucy) Culbertson of Kentucky and Bob (Wanda) Felber of Kentucky; grandchildren Kyle J. Satterfield, Caleb M. Satterfield, Kimberly Satterfield, Rachel A. (Nathan) Duckworth and Philip M. Culbertson.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his siblings Margaret Meintel, James (the late Mickey) Culbertson, Elizabeth (the late Lloyd) Shriver and Geneva (the late Norville) Rodgers.
Visitation was held Thursday, September 22, 2022 from 9:00 am until the time of funeral service at 11:00 am at Faith Baptist Church in Festus officiated by Bro. Richard Simmons of Festus. Interment followed in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis, Missouri. Memorials in Bobby’s memory are preferred to Faith Baptist Church.
