Brenda Arnett Hopkins, age 79, a resident of Royalton Road in Salyersville, Kentucky; passed away Sunday, June 9, 2024, at Mountain Manor Nursing Home in Paintsville, Kentucky.
Brenda was born January 28, 1945 in Salyersville, Kentucky the daughter of the late Harris and Betty Salyer Arnett. Husband, Leonard Hopkins, step-son, Gary Hopkins, sisters, Pauline Arnett, Ethel Fisher, Ruth Allen, Phyllis Howard, Aileen Howard, Etta Bell, brothers, Sidney Arnett, Harold Arnett, Jack Arnett also preceded in death.
Brenda was a valued member of her family and loved spending time with her family and friends.
Those left to mourn includes “special friends”, Tammy Stephens and husband Brian of Salyersville, Kentucky; sister, Joann Bailey of Lexington, Kentucky, a host of family and friends who love and miss her.
Funeral services for Brenda Arnett Hopkins will be conducted Thursday, June 13, 2024 at 1:00 PM from the chapel of the Salyersville Funeral Home. Clergy Johnny Bailey and Brian Stephens will deliver comforting words on the day of services. Interment will follow in the Dud Carpenter Cemetery in Salyersville, Kentucky. The family will welcome friends Thursday, June 13, from 10:00 AM and anytime prior to funeral services.
