Charles Cassity, age 62, a resident of Ivan Cassity Road in Elk Fork, Kentucky; passed away Monday, July 17, 2023 at Albert B. Chandler Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky.
Charles Lee was born April 1, 1961 in Blaze, Kentucky the son of the late Ivan and Mazie Elliott Cassity. Sisters, Nadine Elliott, Brenda Keeton, and brothers, Denzel Cassity, Winford Cassity Jr. also preceded in death.
Charles was employed as a farmer. He was a member of the Straight Creek Enterprise Church in Sandy Hook, Kentucky.
Those left to mourn includes wife, Ardean Gamble Cassity of Elk Fork, Kentucky, daughter, Melissa Sue Cassity and boyfriend Jerry Adams Jr. of Salyersville, Kentucky, son, Jerry Cassity of West Liberty, Kentucky, sisters, Irene Elliott of West Liberty, Kentucky, and Imogene Vest of Conover, Ohio, two grandchildren, a host of family and friends who love and miss him.
Funeral services for Charles Lee Cassity were conducted Friday, July 21, 2023 from the Straight Creek Enterprise Church in Elk Fork, Kentucky. Clergy David Gambill delivered comforting words on the day of service. Interment followed in the Wells Creek Cemetery in Sandy Hook, Kentucky. Contributions can be made to the memorial fund here at the funeral home.
