Charles Ray Patrick, age 85, a resident of Parkway Drive in Salyersville, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, August 24, 2025, at ARH Highlands in Prestonsburg, Kentucky peacefully with family.
Charles Ray was born December 24, 1939 in Salyersville, Kentucky the son of the late Wardie Cecil and Oralee Allen Patrick. Brother, John Wesley Patrick, and sister-in-law, Linda Patrick, also preceded in death.
Charles Ray is a graduate of Salyersville High School, formally in Salyersville. Charles was a Veteran of the Vietnam War where he worked as an aviation mechanic until being honorably discharged in the Marine Corp. He also was employed by Contential Conyer until his retirement.
Charles was a member of the Stenson United Baptist Church where he served as secretary and treasurer. He was also a member the Magoffin County Disabled American Veterans, NRA, Magoffin County Muzzleloaders
Those left to mourn includes wife, Patricia “Trish” Conley Patrick, his wife of forty-nine years, daughter, Jennifer Rudd of Salyersville, Kentucky, son, Stephen Ray “Steve” Patrick and wife Rebecca Howard Patrick of Salyersville, Kentucky, sister, Kathy Puckett and husband Doug of Salyersville, Kentucky, brothers, Randall Hubert Patrick of Salyersville, Kentucky, Donald Patrick and wife Debbie of Salyersville, Kentucky, sister-in-law, Minnie Pearl “Pudge” Patrick of Salyersville, Kentucky, two grandchildren, five great grandchildren, a host of family and friends.
Funeral services for Charles Ray Patrick were conducted Wednesday, August 27, 2025, from the chapel of the Salyersville Funeral Home. Clergy Joe Carroll, John Blanton, and Danny Varney delivered comforting words on the day of service. Interment followed in the Lakeview Cemetery in Staffordsville, Kentucky. Military Rites were conducted by the Magoffin County Disabled American Veterans chapter.
