Clyde “Tinker” Howard, Jr., age 76 of Salyersville, Kentucky passed away Friday, July 26, 2024 at his home. He was born November 15, 1947 at Craft Creek, Kentucky to the late Clyde, Sr., and Gladie Montgomery Howard.
Survived by his wife, Jewel Montgomery Howard, two sons, Sean Edward (Laura Jane) Howard of Lexington, Kentucky, Chad Everett (Jennifer) Howard of Louisville, Kentucky, one brother, Stewart Howard of Michigan, three sisters, Gail Smith, Ina Blanton both of Salyersville, Kentucky, Chloteen (Gary) Fish of Florida, five grandchildren, Katie Lynn Jernigan, Charlie Howard, Christian Howard, Henry Howard, and Eleanor Howard, and one great grandson, Jackson Blake.
In addition to his parents, Clyde is preceded in death by five brothers, James Edward Howard, Richard Howard, Marvin Howard, Roger Howard, Larry Howard, four sisters, Jewel Allen Arnett, Mary Rudd, Margie Rudd, and Ruby Carty.
Funeral services were conducted Monday, July 29, 2024 from the Magoffin County Funeral Home Chapel with Lindsey Meade officiating. Burial followed in the Clyde Howard Family Cemetery at Craft Creek, Kentucky.
Arrangements were under the direction of the Magoffin County Funeral Home.
