Magoffin County Health Department’s Abbie Conley was honored at the Kentucky Public Health Association Conference last week. Conley received the 2026 Sara C. Stice Award for her work as a health education coordinator. The Sara C. Stice Award honors one person from the state of Kentucky who has made an outstanding contribution in the field of health education. In the social media post recognizing her achievement, the Magoffin County Health Department stated: “Abbie is a go-getter and is always thinking of ways she can help better her community. We are forever grateful for all of your hard work and dedication to the students and citizens of Magoffin County. Congratulations, Abbie Conley!”
