Danny Joe Cantrell age 71 of Mine Fork in Salyersville, Kentucky passed away Saturday, February 17, 2024 at the Highlands ARH in Prestonsburg, Kentucky. He was born February, 22, 1952 in Salyersville, Kentucky to the late Charlie Wilson and Flora Blanton Cantrell.
Survived by the love of his life, Marcia Spaulding Cantrell, four sons, Donald Cantrell, Charles (Cathy) Cantrell both of Salyersville, Kentucky, Terry (Sandra) Lemaster of Paintsville, Kentucky, Joseph (Deborah) Lemaster of Michigan, one daughter, April Cantrell of Salyersville, Kentucky, one brother, Jerry Cantrell of Paintsville, Kentucky, four sisters, Carolyn Sue Borders of Arizona, Anna Lou Salyers of Nippa, Kentucky, Margaret Ellen Cantrell of Salyersville, Kentucky, Cathy Cook of Michigan, fifteen grandchildren, Kaylee “K-Bug” (Scott) Connelley, Shane “Muffin” (Stephanie) Bailey, Michael Lemaster, Melissa Lemaster (Chris) Haney, Darrell Lemaster, Matthew Gibson, Savannah Allen, Elivia Jordan, Adriyan Cantrell, Keyonah Cantrell, Tiffany Johnson, Zachery Mann, Bradley Lemaster, Reginia Lemaster, Justin Lemaster, eleven great grandchildren, Benett Connelley, Emmett “Emmi Lou” Connelley, Wyatt Shane Bailey, Ayden Reed, Raelyn Hall, Kyloh Allen, Malachi Gibson, Jaxton Gibson, Kainan Gibson, Liam Gibson, Eden Jordan, and his fur baby, Porshie.
In addition to his parents, Danny Joe is preceded in death by six brothers, Eddie Cantrell, Don Cantrell, Gene Cantrell, Hillous Cantrell, Glen Cantrell, Junior Cantrell, and one sister, Mary Nickel.
Funeral services were conducted Tuesday, February 20, 2024 from the Magoffin County Funeral Home Chapel with Matthew Craft officiating.
Arrangements were under the direction of the Magoffin County Funeral Home.
