Danny Neal “Big Dan” Salyer age 72 of Salyersville, Kentucky passed away Saturday, July 27, 2024 in Magoffin County, Kentucky. He was born March 08, 1952 in Paintsville, Kentucky to the late Ford and Irene Arnett Salyer.
Survived by one daughter, Ashley Michelle Salyer of Salyersville, Kentucky, one step-daughter, Kathern Lynn Carr Snyder of Newport, Michigan, one sister, Debbie Thompson of Salyersville, Kentucky, one grandson, Jackson Calloway Salyer of Salyersville, Kentucky, three step – granddaughters, Amanda Ramen, Ashlea Henson, Rachel Job all of Newport, Michigan, one special nephew, Mickey Thompson, with host nieces, and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Danny is preceded in death by his wife, Linda Lou Serbine Salyer, one son, Michael Keith Salyer, one step-son, Keith Lynn Carr, two brothers, Walter Keith Salyer, Roger Dale Salyer, two sisters, Faye Back, and Vickie Lynn Minix.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, August 01, 2024 from the Magoffin County Funeral Home Chapel. Friends may visit the funeral home any time prior to funeral services.
Masonic rites were conducted Wednesday evening by the Salyersville Lodge #769 F&AM.
Military rites will be given by the Salyersville D.A.V. Chapter 15 the day of the funeral service.
Arrangements were under the direction of the Magoffin County Funeral Home.
