David Michael Shackelford age 66 of Salyersville, Kentucky passed away Wednesday, March 19, 2025 at the University of Kentucky Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky. He was born September 09, 1958 in Tacoma, Washington to Retta Sue Hamilton Shackelford and the late Clarence Doyle Shackelford.
Survived by his wife, Kaay Dillahunty Shackelford, two daughters, Abby and husband Ken Detweiler of Crossville, Tennessee, Claire Shackelford and husband Jim Ralston of Rochester, New York, and one brother, Steve and wife Lisa Shackelford of New York.
A memorial service will be conducted at 3:30 P.M. Saturday, March 29, 2025 at the Burning Fork Community Church with Doug Dunn officiating. Friends may visit the church Saturday, March 29, 2025 after 1:30 P.M. and any time prior to services.
In lieu of flowers, family has requested that contributions made in memory of David Shackelford to the Burning Fork Community Church at 417 Old Burning Fork Road, Salyersville, Kentucky 41465.
