Ronald Dean Jenkins age 78 of Rockhouse Creek Road Salyersville, Ky., husband of Loretta Jenkins, passed away on Sunday evening August 4, 2024 at his home. He was born December 01, 1945 at Ever, Kentucky, in Salyersville to the late Woodrow and Polly Daniels Jenkins.
Survived by his wife Loretta, one daughter, Shawna (Ryan Neil) Hunley of Salyersville, Kentucky, two brothers, David Jenkins of Florida, William Jenkins of Salyersville, Kentucky, four sisters, Clara Baughman of Ohio, Janice Adams of Danville, Kentucky, Rose Mary Stahl of Ohio, Rebecca Gilliland of Salyersville, Kentucky, two granddaughters, Chandra (Dalton) Hunley, and McKenzie (Logan) Sparks.
In addition to his parents, Dean is preceded in death by one son, Richard Dean Jenkins, two brothers, Bill Jenkins, Woodrow Junior Jenkins, and one sister, Reva Slusher.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Thursday, August 08, 2024 from the Rockhouse Liberty Baptist Church with Denzil Jenkins, Paul Brown, Jr., Gary Keeton, and William Jenkins officiating. Burial will follow in the Jenkins Cemetery at Rockhouse, Kentucky. Friends may visit the church any time prior to the funeral services.
