Deloris Jordan age 71 of Salyersville, Kentucky passed away Thursday, April 14, 2022 at the Clark Regional Medical Center in Winchester, Kentucky. She was born November 16, 1950 in Charleston, West Virginia to the late Henry Jay and Rushie Church Vanhoose.
Survived by three sons, Keith Vanhoose of Stanton, Kentucky, Kenneth “Hillbilly” (Angie) Jordan, Phillip “Brute” (Heather) Jordan, both of Salyersville, Kentucky, with a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
In addition to her parents, Deloris is preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Jordan, one daughter, Melissa Stephanie Vanhoose, one grandson, Bryan Keith Jordan, two brothers, Thomas Vanhoose, Johnny Ray Vanhoose, seven sisters, Francis McKenzie, Geraldine Smith, Sue Prince, Wanda Conley, Brenda Lemaster, Tammy Bailey, and Vivian Doris Ross.
Funeral services were conducted Wednesday, April 20, 2022 from the Ivyton Baptist Church with burial to follow in the Captain Powers Cemetery at Lakeville, Kentucky. Officiating were Johnny Bailey, Randy Brown, and Jonathan Arnett officiating.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Magoffin County Funeral Home.
